What am I doing wrong when I try to remove-extrude a tangent circle partway through a larger object?

how does splitting work with the timeline?
A little unclear if splitting is supposed to respect time. SO in the example below, I initially cut the big blue part with the plane you see with the purple arrow. Initially those side tabs with the green arrows were added after the split, and were extruded inside the split. The client then asked those tabs to farther out,… -

How to loft / fill airfoil shape across curved wing shape
Hi all, Trying to create / modify a design for a hydrofoil board. I have a profile generator which I used to bring in airfoil shapes, and the keel extrusion was easy as it does not get narrower at the base. Why is this cut through SM failing?
So stumbled across something curious. I was simply trying to trim the perimeter of a flat part down by extrude-removing the outside away, but for some reason it is failing. The part is modeled as a sheet metal part. Any ideas why this isn't working?… -

Hello @S1mon, thank you so much for your quick reply. I was able to come up with another solution inspired by your idea which required less workarounds for the difficult geometry of the foil profile. Re: cannot add sketch fillet
The sketch fillet is failing because it defaults to 5mm in size. If your lines are shorter than that it will fail. On desktop you can click and drag a fillet to size. Embarrassingly, I can’t work out how to do it on mobile so I will ask someone who does. In the meantime, can you make your lines temporarily longer in order…
