I beleve in this case my FS won't work because we have a shape of double curvature. Though since the length of the part is far greater then the width you can get approximate solution by measuring the length of inner and outer edges and calculating the mean value and considering the width to stay the same -

@Lachlan_Barrell - Will the number of components change in the assembly often? I think the "pattern" tool is useful when you want to easily change the number of components in an assembly, but in your case, you may be better of mating the parts manually. Tapering shapes?
I'm trying to make a mount to enable me to attach an impact sprinkler to a fence post, but I'm really struggling to create a tapered shape for the spike. It tapers both lengthwise and width wise in each of the four ridges of the spike. Would anyone be able to suggest the best method to try and tackle this? Thanks! I'm -

Yes, this is possible. Before we go further, you need to decide what you want your driving parameter to be. Total width and height, spacing between bars, or bar widths.
