Re: Parts list in alphabetical order
This looks like a part studio so you can't do what @glen_dewsbury is suggesting, that would work in an assembly though...
In a part studio, the parts are listed in the order they are created by the feature tree .
My question would be why you want to do this in the first place, there isn't much you can do in the part studio but you just want the list you could insert the whole part studio on an assembly and use the BOM table to copy the list for example...

Re: Set a custom property via Featuresript for another custom property
@graeme_anderson, once you create your custom property, it should have an ID. You can use that ID like this to set it within a custom feature. Setting a custom property is slightly different than setting a normal property, see the example below:
//Set the part to "Not revision managed" and "Exclude from BOM" setProperty(context, { "entities" : bodyQuery, "propertyType" : PropertyType.CUSTOM, "customPropertyId" : "57f3fb8efa3416c06701d61d", "value" : "true" }); setProperty(context, { "entities" : bodyQuery, "propertyType" : PropertyType.EXCLUDE_FROM_BOM, "value" : true });
Re: Edit Line Thickness in drawing
+1 for this as well - same reason. Need to set to 0.05mm for laser printing
Re: part drawings thumbnails dont show in main menu
It can take a while for the thumbnalis to show up.
Re: "extrud grid "
@Guest_Zephalto
Are you looking for my Grid Extrude? It's a custom feature you need to add like this.

Re: How do I make a faceted cylinder design?
@eric_pesty
It's one of the most brain-hurting workflows I've come up with. I hope to make a video sometime instead of trying to explain it all here.
@The_Techy
I updated it so it makes a solid now using the Enclose feature. I also broke out the uCount and vCount variables as configuration variables to make them easier to tweak. The flexibility of this model makes it easy to solve the "stretched out" diamonds problem.

Re: Enabling Editing of Public Parts
I see this is an old thread.... IMO, no one cares about other's public documents. Everyone care's about whatever they are working on, and that is it. It's hard enough to form a "team" of strangers to work on something intentionally together. (And OS has tools to do that). Some random part that a random user made is of no interest to other random users.
When I first made my OS account, I would browse the public documents to see what others were up to. I haven't done it since in 3 years.
