Exporting parts and keeping features (i.e. CAD model creation steps)

Is there an export format that keeps information about individual features and how they were created, rather than a simple 3D shape with no other information attached? I tried exporting to SolidWorks format but features were lost.

No.  Your feature tree history will be lost when exporting and import between MCAD products.

This is the same for brands of MCAD. After importing to whichever product direct editing tools are the best way to make further changes
