Complex conical cavity design

m_minm_min Member Posts: 7
Hi,

I'm trying to design a ring to fit around an object as it lays on a concave surface. The interior  cavity of the ring is a complex conical shape which has circular ends of different diameter and centers not alligned.
The circles both rest on the concave surface and because of this, the angle of the line that connects them changes from 0 to x as the offset grows due to the diameter differences.

essentially o_0  (with an angled lined connecting the top)

Can you post an image? Difficult to picture what you are trying to do.
