Velocity Stacks

A year ago I designed a pair of velocity stacks for a Bonneville Triumph inside Onshape.

https://forum.onshape.com/discussion/8714/highway-101

Since then I've been upgrading the stack design and working on a new website that builds velocity stacks on demand using onshape.

Here's the new design in Onshape:
-improved screw clamping method
-removed filter holder (just blocked air flow)
-made text imprint more robust

So I know the carburator has a 55mm diameter mount and I have 70mm space for it to fit. Below is the old design that I'm replacing with a new one:

Goto https://rustyshed.com, click on "Velocity Stacks" then key-in my size:

Click "Submit" and it rebuilds the geometry. It takes about 15 seconds so please give it a chance. Those who use onshape, it's the text that's taking all the time to rebuild:

If you're a motorcycle enthusiast and want more power, these stacks really improve high rev'ing horsepower.
You can click on purchase or send me a comment and we can talk about them.

Cleaned up the model and regen times went from 18 seconds to 7 seconds.

I've been using the regeneration time chart trying to make my model rebuild faster. I've re-defined the text imprint, which is 1.05 seconds, and suppressed some derived data that I wasn't using any longer. The overall rebuild is now 2.02 seconds:

    https://rustyshed.com is much faster now

This is awesome. How are you embedding the render on your website?

@tim_hess427 I use a basic img tag and src is data that came from OS servers.

If you're really interested, send me an email at os@rustyshed.com and we can discuss.
