Plastic Design Features

I would love to see Onshape implement some plastic design features (Snapfits, grooves, etc.). Anything to assist with the design of plastic components.

@chris_aicher The script should be working.
One thing to note is that right now it only allows you to select the center points of a circle from a sketch. I need to update it to allow you to select just a plain point or a line vertex when I have time.

Does the script show an error for you? If so, what does it say?

Occasionally, I have seen the ribs cause an error when they connect to a side wall, but if you turn off the ribs it will work. I haven't quite figured out the cause of that one since it doesn't happen all of time.

Ahhh....I didn't realize/see the center point of a circle...

Glad you got it working!

I figured out what I was doing wrong for the selection filter, so I just updated it (Version V9). That will allow you to now use a plain point or the vertex of a line for the origin of the mounting boss.
