Cutting plane lines appear solid on drawings when printed?

Andrew_StockstillAndrew_Stockstill Member Posts: 2 PRO
When printing a drawing the cutting plane lines print out as bold solid lines rather than the correct long, short-short, long lines as defined by drafting rules/standards. The drawing appears correct on the screen but will not print these lines correctly. Two different printers have been used with the same results each time.
Does anyone have this problem and/or know of a correction to eliminate the problem when printing drawings for machine shop? Drawings are mechanical in nature.
Thanks,
Andy

What happens if you export as PDF - does that look OK?

i am still getting similar results today. the cutting plane line is not solid, but the spacing is so small its very difficult to differentiate this as a cutting plane line.
