How do I insert a side view of a cone into a flat sheet metal drawing of a cone?
I am trying to insert a side view of a cone I have drawn into a drawing of a flat view ( sheet metal ) of the cone. Then I can dimension both for the shop floor? I have tried to copy and paste, copy only with no success. I can create separate drawings of each but would like to put both the flat view and the cone view on the same sheet.
Thanks for any help and suggestions ! https://cad.onshape.com/documents/ea3df6d3630b4d05f035badd/w/3e5c1b9a4154512185a7d620/e/e94909bc71c0d61a2783f8fa

That being said, use Insert view as @lana showed to your hearts content.
Unlike solidworks, flat patterns are separate parts, rather than configurations, which is why they need a separate parent view.5
