Assembly in-context differs from Part Studio

I’m in Assembly
I select InContext editing
I select Replace Face
The face flushes out with the face I select
I jump back to the Assembly
The face is not flush
What gives?

OK so I moved the Mate Connector on the gray part to a corner. And I removed the offset on the Mate Connector that was on the blue part, and that gave me the same result in the Assembly as in the Part Studio
