Yes it is! Please see the help docs on inserting into assemblies here. Note that you will have to toggle the `Sketches` filter when the insert dialog is open.

I've followed the procedure, when I insert the sketch from the part studio I constrain it so it matches its location within the PS solid.. so 2 stage process to achieve the desired result? inquiring in case I'm missing a trick!!
