Can a part be copied into another part

Can a part studio be copied into another part studio to be used as a tool to boolean subtract, without having to recreate it from within that part.

imagineered,I also have the same demand with you when I creat some models.For example,if a chassis has been creat in a part studio,and I want to creat some other parts on the chassis, but I want to put them in another part studio in single document,so I need to get some reference from the chassis ,but I can not input the chassis to another part studio directly.So I have to copy the chassis part studio and paste it ,then delete some other parts and keep the chassis only in the pasted part studio and then creat some parts on the chassis.But if we can insert the chassis into the part studio directly, how simple!

Hope this is an area they will have a look at soon - appears there is a requirement from many users

@imagineered, you can create all part in a single part studio so that you can use the other parts as a tool for Boolean operation.you can keep the part used for tool by "keep tool" option.
If you really want to make in new part studio then

1.Export that part to local
2.Import it to inside the required document

Now required part will be in new part studio and you can work on that...
