Stretchy block in assemblies

duncan_thomasduncan_thomas Member Posts: 9 ✭✭
Hi

I don't know if I'm doing something fundamentally wrong, but I'm having trouble getting assemblies to fit together without doing lots of math myself. Sometimes what I really want is a part that can stretch, usually along one axis, to fill a gap - I just know that I want e.g. two pairs of two faces to touch (plainer mate)... Is this sane/possible/likely to be possible later?

So it looks like I can't do what I want in an assembly, only a part studio. I'll try again using just one part studio. If I can't figure it out today, I'll simplify the design and post up a public document.

    Thanks
