I haven't found an easy way to add text to a curved surface. Is there one?

Ideally, I'd like take text and wrap it to a surface (like putting a serial number on a cylinder) rather then float the text and have it extrude into the surface at different depths. I am new to this so hopefully missing something obvious.  Thanks.

    Hi,
There is a great featurescript for this, I can't remember if it's called curved text or surface text (sorry am on phone) that does exactly this. Onshape also released the wrap function recently that will get you there but involves a few more steps.
Shout of you can't find the FS and it'll go and look up a link for you.
