Hello all,
This weekend, my friend (@Rufus31415)and I (@thibault_grad) participated to a hackathon. That means we've had 24 hours to develop the project we chose.
We are working more and more with the Microsoft HoloLens in our job. For thos who don't know about HoloLens, these are Mixed reality glasses that displays holograms in the real world. Moreover we use Onshape a lot for hobby projects.
We discovered that OnShape has a REST API from the one we can get all sorts of informations including the 3D models. So the project for the weekend has been consisting in developing an Onshape app (similar as IOS and Android one wiith of course less functionnality at the time) for Mixed Reality (Microsoft HoloLens in particular).
You can watch video we made for the presentation at the contest : https://youtu.be/myeTj3Bg80Q
For more information about the app, feel free to ask and visit : https://onshape-mr.github.io/
