creating a partial thread on a cylinder face by a surface ,how nice this method is !

I did not know how to creat a partial thread on a cylinder face before ,but some day some users introduced some different methods for it by forums , like" creat a helix first, and use "transform" to move this helix,and make it twine on the cylinder face partly,another method is that "creat a surface first and then creat a helix on this surface instead of this cylinder". so today I used the second method for creating a partial thread ,it is very good.see the image below, the yellow profile lines are the surface I created!

    @shanshan Good Work.

    I'd like to see the end of the thread finished off rather than just square. One way I've finished my threads off is to select the end face a do a revolve around the bottom edge. Quick and easy.
