Hidden lines are solid in pdf

So I need the hidden lines in my drawings to remain broken when saved as a pdf. Am I missing a setting to allow this?

    Works correct for me:
Right click on the drawing tab > From context menu select: Export > Select Format: PDF > Export > Open with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Save

Result: Hidden lines in drawing are hidden lines in PDF.

Did you use the same command sequence?

Do you have an example of this? I haven't seen this in Onshape yet. I see it constantly in SW so I'm not ruleing it out yet either.

how small is the part relative to the paper?
Does it work if you scale it up?
Do you get the same result if you use the print command?
if so: What is the border size relative to the paper size and DPI?

I've tried exporting and just printing as a pdf. I will mess around with the scaling and see if that fixes it.
