How do you fillet lines perpendicular to a helix ?

I have hit a problem I can not seem to find an answer to. I have created a spring (basic stuff) but I would like to add a fillet to the ends of the coils so that they turn in towards the center of the coil. I can not seem to get a sketch plane to coincide with the coil line and the straight part.
In advance thanks for the help.

1.Create helix
2. Create sketches at both ends
Starting point of sketch should be at the end point of helix.
3.Make sweep1 with a circular cross section.
4.Make sweep2 with circular face as a cross section.
5.similarly do the sweep3.

Step 1. Draw in the plane where the coil end /starts a sketch as below, I used the diameter of the coil to draw the circle
Step 2. Draw a plane using the line point option
Step 3 in the plane above draw the circle of the helix (Coil) use coincident relationship between the center of the circle and the end point of the line
Step Use the sweep feature selecting all curves
