Drawing: project from a section view

Not sure if this is ANSI-sanctioned, but it's possible in Solidworks. For some parts, it's handy to create a section view, then to project additional views from that section view. This reduces the number of views needed.

sometimes the machine is so long, it is a black smudge on the page until you zoom in with details and blow it up to fill another page.. then zoom in again on the third page.. etc..
also need the connection line to the detail views, otherwise the detail circle on the machine can almost be completely lost in the other lines.
