Mouse rotation behavior change?

chad_etzelchad_etzel Member Posts: 4
Did the way objects rotate with the mouse change recently? It seems before that when rotating (right-click and drag with mouse), the object would rotate about the center point of the viewport. Now it feels like the point of rotation is wherever the mouse pointer started. Somehow this is breaking my brain and making it more difficult to rotate objects into the desired view than previous... am I dreaming this, or is this a recent change?

It's not a recent change... if your mouse is over whitespace it will rotate around the model center. If it is over model geometry it will rotate around the mouse location.
