How to wrap an image to a curved surface.

Hello, I would like to put this image on the surface of the shield that I made however I cannot figure out how to do so. Any assistance would be appreciated.
This is the link to the project. Ultimately I would like to CNC the entire thing and have the image as part of the shield.

You would need to trace the image. which in the case of your image... that isn't an option.
