I can't see that this has been asked before.

In the Onshape Essentials video it was mentioned That you should not use I.E. or Edge. Why is that? What about the new browser "Brave"? TIA.

    Internet Explorer and the old version of Edge do not support official web standards so they are/were difficult to support. You can use any browser you like, but we only officially support Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari and the new version of Edge based on Chromium. Use https://cad.onshape.com/check to see if your browser supports the components necessary to run Onshape.
