Entering and displaying fractions

SammyOneSammyOne Member Posts: 4 ✭✭
I am using the imperial system with fractions and it works as expected. What throws me off is the fact that I can't enter the usual "1 1/8". Instead, I have to use the plus sign instead of space. By the same token, dimension display does not show the fraction but rather decimals. For example, if I were to enter 1 1/8, the display would show 1.125 instead of the fraction. I am familiar with the most common fraction equivalents in decimal(0.25 0.125 0.0625, etc) but things get very difficult when have to use something like 7/64th.
Is there a way to display fractions as entered instead of their decimal equivalent?

you can only show fractional notation in drawings.

Please create an improvement request if this is something you need.
