Copy and reduce a finished design

I have a finished design that I would like to copy and then reduce the copy to a smaller scale.  I am pretty new to the cad program.  If anyone could send me a link to a video or just walk me through the steps.

    Create a new part studio. Then use a Derived feature to copy the part, then use Transform/scale.
