Rack and Pinion Relation

Looking to properly relate and move Mechanical Movement 128.
Giving the surfaces and tangent mate would never let it release one side. None of the other mates seem to be quite right. The rack and pinion relation seems like it might work. Is there a way to make the R&P relation reciprocate while the revolute mate moves in a single direction?

that is shaped like a cam that only touches one of the fingers of the frame.
something like the blue shape, then make it tangent to the frame marked in red
The other finger on the top of the frame does not need to actually engage the wiper, just needs to "appear" to
