Importing DWG FIle

Mustafa_Farhan_IhsasMustafa_Farhan_Ihsas Member Posts: 2
I am trying to import a dwg file which was developed by another person in unknown CAD software. When I try to import that from import sketch, it says that the selected file contains too many entitities to import.

There is a practical limit for how many entities can be imported into a sketch for the sketch solver to handle. I suggest right-clicking on the element tab at the bottom that contains the DWG file, then select "Create Drawing of....", delete any unnecessary details then export as dxf and reimport.
