Multiple Accounts

I have a standard Onshape account ($1,500/yr).  I would like to create a second public account (free), using a different email address, to explore some of Onshape's unique collaborative design tools.  On a collaborative design project (potentially comprised of both paid and public accounts) it is not clear to me how team members would navigate to various shared documents to:
  • create derived parts,
  • insert parts or subassemblies into an assembly,
  • etc.

Is my proposed action to create a second user account in compliance with Onshape's policies and terms of use?  If not, please recommend an alternate path.

Yes that is fine. Free Plan accounts can only edit public documents that have been shared with them (otherwise they must copy). So as an Onshape Professional user you could make a document public then add a free user with editing permissions. This also applies with free to free user interaction.
