I've seen videos of people import pictures to do things like tracing by importing from their computer using the insert picture function. But for some reason, I don't see the import button using the function or any other way I've seen. Is there something I have to do to see this?

    Maybe it's gone off the bottom of the screen? Quick fix - import the image before creating the sketch - click the + menu, bottom left and select import. Then in the sketch, the image will appear in the list when you click the insert image button.
