Default units based on your location

Anyone outside of the US (and I believe even some in the US) would likely desire their default units at least for distances to be "mm" millimetres. I wouldn't want to hurt any US person so you could use sane defaults based on the Geo IP or language when signing up (I didn't try signing up with another language as my default). It did take me a bit of time to adjust the default setting and change my project's settings the first time. Now that I know it's easy but it did create a small shock initially where some users will drop the product.
