Set default tab for document opening?

Hi There,
Is there a way to set a default tab to open when opening a document,
Currently working with a colleague on a project and we are both in the same document and I'm finding when I open it I get really random tabs that open varying from a DXF import to the heaviest of full PCB assemblies which can be slow to load, I'd rather create an empty tab part studio/assembly as a "Landing page" so that I can then choose where I want to spend my initial time loading. it is annoying to open a document and sit and wait for the spinning wheel to load up something I don't even need.
