Why won't my trammel animate?

I have been constructing a trammel using videos and when I finished assembling it and tried to animate the trammel, it gives me an error message that says
"×CloseUnable to compute any steps for this animation. Unable to apply transform. Instance(s) may be constrained." Im wondering why this is happening?

john_mcclary Member, Developers Posts: 3,941 PROYea something weird is going on with part 4's mate. had to say without access to edit. But it looks like your mate is not connected to the hole in the slide arm, I think your revolute mate is attached to the center of the face rather than center of the hole.
Also turn off your limits on your slider1 and silder2,
they are not necessary and are probably what is actually causing the hang ups
