Hide Derived Part

I'm a bit confused. It says "If you derived a part, it is listed in the Parts list (under the Features list) where you can toggle the eye icon to hide/show that part."

, but when I click on the eye, only the mate connectors are hidden.

    Sounds like you are pressing the eye icon on the feature not the part.

    If I select "suppress", it gets hidden
