Displaying Part Weight in a drawing

I feel like I must be missing something, but how do I display the calculated weight (mass) in a drawing?

In my note drop-down, it does not appear as a usable property in a note.

You are not missing anything.  Currently mass properties are not available for drawing templates.  I go through the long winded method of copying the mass from individual parts in Part Studios, then pasting the mass into the drawing as a note.

You can use the Set Material FeatureScript (here). You can set which Custom Property to write the Mass and Volume to - then you use that Custom Property in your drawing.
You need to set the density of the material manually, but it remembers the density, material name, and custom property IDs so it's pretty easy to use.

expanding on his set material feature, I've made it so i select the material through the feature as well, kind of like killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Also allows for calculating and displaying different units per part. Some in grams, some in pounds etc.

I recommend copying the feature and modify the table to fit your material library.
