Is there any plan to integrate a CAM package option to Onshape?

I don't think Onshape is directly going to do this. They would really kick awesome if they did.

@eric_schimelpfenig Is working on an integrated cloud app for 3-Axis I think.

I think we will see more CAM products in the App Store. Only this week I put a CAM company in touch with PTC as they wanted to be included in the App store. As soon as I know any more I will let everyone know.

    Thanks @MichaelPascoe!

@frank_xydias We're considering bring our CAM solution to Onshape. We take a pretty different approach to CAM:

    Fabber (getfabber.com)

As much as we reasonably can we try and do a lot of the fidgety toolpathing stuff for you (while also letting users dig in and do all of the special configuration they want too)

Our take on CAM is pretty different than "traditional" CAM software. So far our SketchUp users are very into it.

You can see some of the differences here in this thread: CAM for sheet goods/routers, what do you want? — Onshape

I'd be interested to hear what it is you're making, and how you're currently making it (you must be exporting out of Onshape in some way, right?)
