Variable in circumscribed polygon

Hi,
I tried to use a variable to declare the number of faces in an circumscribed polygon in my sketch and it looks impossible. Or did I do something wrong? I describe the diameter of the circle with another variable, and that works fine. Please help.

It is not possible - the number of sides is a one-off during polygon creation. You can also not assign a variable to sketch patterns, so you may have to find a way to do it using feature patterns.
