Hi
I'm looking fir a way to build a drill with that kind of edge
I build it before in Solidworks and I'm tying to do it in Onshape
I'll appreciate if someone can help me

Does the surface of the cylinder need to have this bump? 

The cuts in the cylinder will be easy, but the bump may be difficult.

Try this:

• Create a plane normal to the cylinder where the end cut is going to be
• Sketch a spline tangent to each side of the helix flute
• Split the surface of the bit with the tangent spline sketch
• Loft remove the split surface with the flat area of the flute (Make sure the flat profile end condition is set to tangent)
• Circular pattern the swept cut and the loft for a two flute bit

Unless you manufacture drills for a living, the accuracy of the runout shouldn’t be that important. Drills are manufactured using a grinding wheel set at an angle so there is a leading and trailing edge to consider that is difficult to achieve using a simple sweep. SolidWorks does have a solid sweep feature that will replicate this geometry (and little else). Onshape does not. If you have the profile of the flute correct then a simple extrude normal to the end of the helix should give you a good approximation of the geometry.
