About files property

Hello, I'm a college student and I'm really excited to start using Onshape on my projects and also to learn how to use Cad programs overall through Onshape, but I got a very important question first, its about ownership and rights to the files and models I create:
What are the protections I receive for my files, are the projects I do in Onshape my intellectual property? If yes, are both public and private files equally protected? Again, if yes, what are the differences between them then (between public and private files)?
Thanks you beforehand

Regarding you inquiry, I`m not an expert on intellectual property though, but I'll comment what I think would happen, anything you do privately belongs to you its your creation unless you want to share it. If you have a public model OS can`t protect it its "Public", I can copy your file if I want to no restriction whatsoever. So basically the difference is if you want to keep your designs to yourself make them private, OS team will not access your designs without your permission. If you don`t mind others looking and copying your models make them public. What are the protections I receive for my files, are the projects I do in Onshape my intellectual property?
