Simply need to delete unwanted faces

jack_erhartjack_erhart Member Posts: 123 ✭✭
I don't know why this isn't more intuative, but I just need to remove faces in areas of my 2D drawing that developed when areas got closed in. It's on the draft gear of a locomotive I am drawing, and normally you would be able to see through to other parts, but that gets hidden with the unwanted faces. Highlight and delete! Seems it should be simple, but it isn't. So I'm asking if anyone could walk me through this.

Thanks

do you have some screen shots of your issue?

you should simply be able to un-select the closed faces while extruding

Do you have a link to the document? It'll be easier to understand both your goal and issue if we can look at your model. Classic.. Forgot to refresh before posting my comment.
