How to stop gear overlaps?

Hi so I'm having an issue with my gears where when I set them to have a gear relation, the teeth overlap as it spins. How do I fix this?

    Expand "Revolute 2", double-click "mate connector" then "move" then "angle"

    You might need to suppress any gear mates and temporarily convert your revolute mate to a fastened mate so that you can see the rotation when editing the mate connector, like this:
