Sheet Metal Flange at angle

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a sheet metal part and seem to be stuck. Maybe one off you guys knows an easy fix or workaround.

The goal it to add a flange that extrudes at an angle. I've tried by adding extrusions that fail both when sketched on the part or the flat sheet.

Any Ideas?

thanks a lot, this does work however it forces part of the flange to become detached. Is there a way to avoid that?

@PvSaurrma,

I am inclined to trim the flange with the <Extrude_remove> tool rather than applying <Move face>.  Does this suit your purpose?  My primary reasoning is that you appear to be targeting the vertex of a the original flange, rather than a specified taper angle.  But let YOUR design intent guide the methodology.

Note that the trimming boundary can be sketched directly onto the the flat pattern, or the bent sheet metal.  I intentionally offset from the bend radius.
