How can I import Videos into my Question or IR?

Everytime I get an error message "the file firmat is not supported"

I tried .mp4 and .mkv

Which format do I have to use?

On the Mac, I've been happy with the builtin screen capture tools for recording (Command-Shift-5, and use "record selected portion"), and Gifski for converting the .MOV to a .GIF.

When it's a video i want, i'll just upload to youtube and embed it here
