Measurements and optimisation

StephaneStephane Member Posts: 2 PRO
Hello all,

Is there a way to create measurements and optimisation feature as they exist in Creo?

By this I mean, being able to assign a measured value to a variable like a distance, volume, area, second moment of inertia...

The value can then be used in an optimisation loop, driven by some key dimensions.

For example, I create a sphere driven by the variable Diameter.
I measure its area and store it to the variable Area.

I create a third variable called Target. Say Target=10.

I then can add an optimisation feature to look for the correct Diameter so that Area = Target.

If I then go and change Target to 20, Diameter will be updated automatically.

As I said, these are standard Creo features and are very useful for engineering.

Thanks for the help!
