how to merge parts in an assembly into one printable part

bruce_jelstadbruce_jelstad Member Posts: 2
I suspect that this must have been dealt with before, but I could not find it.
Say that I have part A and part B. I can mate them in an assembly but now I want to export them as one object that I can print. How do I do that?
Thanks

Create a part in-context (there is a button in the assembly toolbar), then transform > copy in place, then boolean > union, then export.

@bruce_jelstad, have you tried right-clicking on the assembly (in the history tree) to export the entire model in STL format?  Superficially at least, this seems to work.
