Multi-color parts

Is there a way to set the appearance of a part as multi-color? For example, if I have a rectangle extrusion - I want it to be "rainbow" in that one end is red and it blends until the other side is purple. Thanks!

    erm, no, there is no rainbow option.

    You could import an image of your gradient to the part. But then you cant see it in the assembly. Images are currently only in Parts visible.
