How to collaborate on public documents

nick_papageorge073nick_papageorge073 Member, csevp Posts: 669 PRO
Hello, in my professional account I can share a document with another professional/basic user by putting their email in the share preferences, and we can both work on the document and collaborate.

On my free public hobbyist account, I can do the same, by adding an email. But on the other end, the email its shared to can only make a copy of the document, and not collaborate. I just created a second hobby account to try. If I go from my pro account to my hobby account, it doesn't work. And if I go from hobby acct 1 to hobby acct 2, it also doesn't work. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any suggestions.

    Yikes! User error! It works.

When I typed in my email, it was a gmail account. I typed half of it and it seemed to autofill the rest, so I stopped typing and pressed the share button. What I didn't realize, it only wrote the "c" of the ".com". Now, I completed the email and all is good. IDK if that was OS autofilling, or my web browser autofilling.
