Circular pattern: how to set the number of copies?

Hello,

I don't know how to make the settings for a circular pattern. I can create it very well, but I don't see how to set the number. The object is reproduced 2 times by default, so that it is present 3 times, but it should only be reproduced 1 time.
I saw in a video (perhaps an older video) that the number should be somewhere where you can click and change it, but I don't have that, but I have the symbol of a mouse with a tick on a green background on the left mouse button. I have tried everything possible with it, but I can't find how to change the number of reproductions.

What's the problem here?

There are two types of patterns - sketch patterns and feature patterns. Sketch patterns have some uses, but feature patterns are much more powerful and parametric. For more on sketch patterns, watch this video from @Evan_Reese
