Import Part Numbers from Inventor FIle

Can anyone advise on how to correctly export from inventor and import into OnShape so that part numbers on parts in Inventor pull through?

I am able to import the zipped folder OK and the assemblies and parts all import OK but the part numbers are missing...

Also the Inventor Pack & Go seems to package the flat pattern for sheet metal parts as well as the folded part - any ideas how to overcome that?

Metadata is not imported unfortunately. Sorry, don't know Inventor well enough to advise.

In case anyone else needs it, a work around is...

Make the name visible in the imported assembly BOM in OnShape, then export this and a BOM from Inventor.

You can then use a Vlookup in excel to add the get the part numbers into cells next to the names on the exported Onshape BOM.

Finally simply copy and paste the column of part numbers directly into the BOM on OnShape.

Thanks for the quick response, I will try importing the info from an exported BOM as a workaround.
