Linear pattern as one part

izaac_smallizaac_small Member Posts: 4
Hi,

I used the linear pattern tool to repeat a part 100 times. However, when I bring this part in to an assembly it brings in 100 individual parts, which is difficult to work with considering I want them to stay together as one part. What can I do to make it so the assembly sees this as one part?

Edit the pattern and select "add"

I used the add tool to create them, however the assembly sees them as 100 different parts when I just want to merge them all as one.

If you used "add" as Neil suggested then your pattern must allow a small gap between parts to the point that Onshape cannot boolean it into one piece.
