issue with multiple coplanar rectangles

omkar_perinkulamomkar_perinkulam Member Posts: 2
I made a sketch, and for some reason, there is an error coming up when I try to make two rectangles that have the same length and width. Could someone help me?

Delete one of the horizontal constraints.

I think you have redundant constraints, which can sometimes cause errors due to the non-infinite precision of the CAD system. As Neil says, in this case, your horizontal constraints are fighting the dimensions you've added. Since you want them the exact same, I recommend deleting the dimensions from one of the shapes, and using equal constraints. That makes it easier to update later anyway.
