    Hey @roger_m_kolaks,

Could. you explain a bit what you are trying to achieve? What are you looking to do and how would the result look like?
Might also be helpful if you could share your WIP document.

    Thanks,
    David

In this context I was simply playing around with Intersections and Subtractions of spheres and conics.   Specifically, I created a sphere, added a Mate at its center, invoked a Circular Pattern with the sphere and its mate then did some Booleans on the collection of objects. The Transform is simply a way to illustrate the mislabling.  The Mate are the only selected entities.

I've marked the approximate location of this in the timeline with "<<<>>>" and there should be a comment.

Hi Roger, the mates are reporting the name of the feature which created them, which is the correct behaviour.

I find that inheritance a bit confusing. Selecting the option "Hide Other Mate Connectors" or "Hide All Mate Connectors" is not implemented on Mate Connectors associated with Derived Entities either.  A Mate Connector associated with a Derived entity is not recognized by the app and has no name

It's confusing for a Mate Connector to lose its identity after being affected by a Feature.  It will not appear in the sidebar and will not be displayed when filtered for.  It is accessible only when clicked upon and cannot be Hidden.
